Clay and Punch work

In request for my friend I made this dove pair again and made the theme a little more romantic as she wanted to gift her fiance..

Personally am in love with the swing...
Had to take so much care in putting a knot in the branches..
Happy that it came out well

Shilpkar Clay Art

I wanted to try something new with the Shilpkar clay and made a mini table top Dove miniature.
Created a round base first and then made the bridge kinda structure on which I kept a pair of dove.

Making of the dove took a little longer and am happy that it turned out well..My hubby insisted me in keeping a tree behind and he got me a twig and made me apply clay on it... Doesn't it look natural..!!

I punched some leaves and placed on the tree and the decorated the base using some roses , fringed flowers and balloon punched flowers

Supplies used are Shilpkar clay from local store, Leaf and Balloon punch from Itsy Bitsy
Waiting for your comments..

Just for u

I've designed this card by painting with Geometrical patterns in the basket and the triangle shaped glitter placement randomly on the card..

Gave this to my dear mom and she loved this as she likes flowers and here I've made them by my finger prints

Just saw the Lulupu challenge and thus entering this card for it

Jus painted in the backside of a used A4 sheet

Guess it's worth to give it a try in canvas !!!!!

Recycled bottle

Its true that " Necessity is the mother of invention"

I badly wanted to make a cute basket to treasure my baby boy's first feeding bottle and thus came out with this tiny little basket... I've used crochet thread and the bottom of BISLERI water bottle

The handle for the basket is also cut out from the bottle and I it stuck it using Fevi kwik as am not owning a glue gun yet...

Stocking butterflies

What a wise technique to make butterflies out of stocking cloth and to use it as home decor..

Used the 3D outliner to add colours to them

Clay art

Moulding the clay into its shape needs a lot of patience.... This Coconut Ganapathi making is really something out of the box which I saw n tried from my friends mom who excels in craft..

Sooner gonna make a new one as this needs a repaint ....

Photo frame

Wanted to try this beautiful frame from the day I had seen the tutorial online and my dear hubby helped me in succeeding with it ....

Very excited that the tutorial did work :-)

Quilled gift for someone special

One of my friend came asking me to make a gift for his girl

I wanted to make something different in quilling as these kind of gifts are not available in the place I reside..

So I made this kind of explosion box

He just loved the idea of the girl and the boy sitting inside heart shaped flower...

Got so much appreciation from many who saw this for those red spiral flowers which are my favourite too...

And am happy that i recycled most of the things for making this gift
I recycled the waste saree box and stuck papers which were remaining after doing some projects
The balloon punch flower is made out of wedding card which were lying home to be thrown away... (Thanks to Dr.Sonia for the balloon bunch tutorial)

How do you all like it ???

Bringing back old memories

How nice to make the flowers by ourselves and decorate the house...
Exciting isn't it ....

I made the vase long back with the help of my friend during our school days using mud pot and had decorated it using M-Seal..

Wanted this good old memory to last long and decided to make the flowers to add beauty to them

Quilled frame

Quilling is so much fun... Amazing stuff can be done just with tiny paper strips ...
Once I started trying my hands on them its become my all time favourite...

If anyone is wanting for the tutorial I shall link the sites I referred to ....

Planning to make more of these frames as they add real beauty to my room

The only problem is to find the materials in Salem.. I get most of my stuff online through Itsy Bitsy which is an amazing craft store and even tell my friend in Bangalore to get some stuff .

How lucky to be blessed with friends who really offer their helping hand when we really need them.

Will update the stores soon from where the stuffs are bought from

Stocking flowers

Loved every minute making these flowers ...

Learnt making these flowers from Youtube...Will link the video soon

My first cross stitch

This took almost a month for me to complete as I had to finish it for gifting my parents for their anniversary.
Got this cross stitch in China where i spent some months and had it framed there . . .
They really do have awesome stuff for cross stitch and wonderful frames
